Nick is currently Rector of llanilid with Pencoed in south Wales and has served in the ordained ministry of the Church in Wales for 24 years. In addition to working in the local Church he has previosly been the Diocesan Youth Chaplain and the Diocesan World Mission Officer. He became involved in Charasmatic Renewal through the Diocesan Renewal Team, which he later chaired for about 10 years.
Nick is a member of ARM Wales and a former chairman of that body, and has been on the leadership team of the Flames of Fire Conference since 1997 and chairman of the conference for the previous 2 years.
Nick & Chris have been married for 29 years and have 3 children and 1 grandson (Dylan). Chris works as a primary school teacher and also works as part of the creche team at the conference. Their childre are all grown up and have left home; Rhian working with a pharmaceutical company, Gareth (married to another Rhian) is an electrician and Ceri who has just qualified as a Doctor.
Chris & Nick have recently returned from sabbatical leave in South Africa where they did voluntary work with a charity called "The Warehouse", based in Cape Town. The work amongst those living in temporary accomodation in the townships at Cape Town forms part of their seminar on Thursday afternoon
