What does a church
with New Wine Values look like?
To establish and support churches throughout the nation
to reach their communities with the gospel of Jesus
Christ, as they are being continuously renewed by the
power of the Holy Spirit. We pray this will look
like:
- Local Churches that are welcoming,
accessible for all generations and relational,
whilst building community and family life.
- Worship that is passionate, intimate,
joyful, inspiring, culturally appropriate and
enables encounter with God.
- Leadership that is anointed, visionary,
courageous, full of faith, and releases church
members into their God-given ministries.
- Mission that is strategic, holistic,
inspired and empowered by the Spirit, concerned for
the poor, and encourages new church planting
initiatives.
- Teaching and training that is
Bible-based, interesting, thoughtful, relevant,
appropriate and is applied to every area of life.
- Discipleship that encourages
prayerfulness, holiness, humility, integrity,
generosity and enables us to serve like Jesus.
- Ministry that is inclusive,
gift-orientated, full of God’s grace, uses the gifts
of the Spirit and results in transformed lives.
- Theology that is orthodox in doctrine and
morality, founded on the person and
work of Jesus Christ and the coming of the Kingdom
of God.
What we aim to do
for you
- To gather church leaders in local
network groups for mutual support and
encouragement.
- To link like-minded leaders and
churches to pool resources and work together.
- To provide training and
resources on specific areas of church life and
leadership.
- To identify key churches around
the country to help resource and train others.
- To help in the recruiting and
release of church leaders across the nation.
- To host retreats, training events
and leaders conferences.
What characterises a New Wine Cymru
Event?
- Worshipping - our ministry to God.
- Teaching/revelation - God's ministry to
us through His Word.
- Prayer-ministry - God’s ministry to us
through one another. Giving God time and space to
speak and minister to His people supernaturally.
- Serving - one another and the world into
which the Lord sends us.
