New Wine Cymru 2008 - CHILD PROTECTION POLICY STATEMENT
Back to the volunteer information

New Wine Cymru regards child protection and good working practice as a priority. In the interests of the safety and well being of all children and young people, it has developed and operates a formal child protection policy, which is registered with the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.

It has also undertaken the CCPAS Self Assessment Quality Assurance Review of its child protection procedures.

New Wine Cymru is committed to ensuring that everyone working with children or young people:

  • have undergone a Criminal Records Bureau check at enhanced level,

  • are adequately trained and supervised,

  • understand and follow New Wine Cymru’s child protection policy.

The child protection policy may be emailed on request, viewed and/or a copy obtained from the office at New Wine Cymru Ltd, PO Box 4210, Cardiff CF14 8BX.  Tel:  02920 766766  or by contacting CCPAS (details below)

As part of New Wine Cymru’s commitment to children and young people it has appointed Mrs Mary Dyas as Child Protection Co-ordinator (mobile number 07966 011294) and Mrs Gill James as Deputy Child Protection Co-ordinator. All the children and young people involved in activities during the summer conference know who they are and how they can be contacted.
